Bengaluru An X thread is getting traction on social media after a netizen suggested crowdfunding for a Bengaluru Auto motorist who was arrested for allegedly slighting a woman after she cancelled his lift.
The woman, a council pupil, was attacked by the Auto motorist, Muthuraj, who was maddened over the passenger contemporaneously reserving motors via two apps and cancelling his lift. The issue came to light after vids of the incident surfaced on social media.
The social media post, which has irked netizens, suggests that people join hands to help Muthuraj cover the legal freights and get bail, with people, substantially men, and Kannada language lawyers, replying to the discussion.
The thread, posted by a stoner named Mohan Dasari, claiming to be the Aam Aadmi Party( AAP) state organisation clerk stated that he was trying to get bail for the indicted bushwhacker while censuring the woman passenger who reserved two hack services for a single trip. Justifying his appeal, Mohan Dasari sympathised with the bus motorist over his stingy earnings stating, “ I know it’s a frustration which made him reply like that so 4 days in jail.
For his helplessness of losing his earning with that duty should n’t be as expensive as 30,000 legal cost. Any counsel who wants to help R Muthuraj for bail? I'll contribute from my side ₹ 1000 & others too. ” The thread seems to have responses censuring the Auto motorist’s aggressive geste also, with one of similar commentary reading, “ Do n’t encourage similar geste.
