In Thiruvananthapuram, a man named Akhil, aged 26yrs and residing in Karamana, was fatally attacked by a group that arrived in a car. Authorities stated that he was struck on the head with an iron rod and had a stone dropped on his body. The perpetrators then took Akhil in an Innova, assaulted him, and abandoned him on the road.
The police identified Ananthu Krishnan as the leader of the assault, who is also a suspect in the Karamana Anandu murder case. Akhil, who was involved in the fish trade, was reportedly killed due to a dispute at a bar a week prior to the incident.
