A notorious miscreant of murder and burglary has been arrested by the Nigdi police of Pimpri- Chinchwad from Hadapsar in Pune.

The Democracy New: Pimpri- Chinchwad : The Pune police have arrested a man for allegedly violating and boggling a minor girl. The indicted, Vikki Singh Jallinder Singh Kalyani, has 90 cases of attempt to murder, murder, dacoity, burglary and theft registered against him. It was veritably delicate to catch the indicted. He also took the DVR of the CCTV camera and fled from the spot. A case was registered at Nigdi police station. Police rushed to the spot and scrutinized the CCTV footage to identify the indicted and the vehicle. The police checked 250 to 300 CCTVs in Pimpri- Chinchwad megacity and Pune megacity. The police reached the house of notorious burglar Vicky Singh through CCTV footage.

As it was challenging to catch Vicky Singh, police sub-inspector Amrish Deshmukh along with other brigades girdled Vicky Singh's house, girdled him, also went to his house and arrested the indicted who was sleeping in his house. After the arrest, he confessed to breaking into the jewellery shop. A locked flat in Bibvewadi in Pune was also vandalised.
