Hyderabad : Karne Sirisha, popularly known as Barrelakka( family with buffaloes), was detained by the Telangana police near the Telangana Public Service Commission( TGPSC), formerly TSPSC, office in Hyderabad on Friday, July 5. Pressure prevailed at the TGPSC office as scholars led by the members of the jobless JAC and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi( BRS) combined scholars union Bharat Rashtra Samithi Vidyarthi( BRSV) tried to lay siege posing with the state government.
Barrelakka joined the demurrers at the TGPSC office demanding an increase in Group 2,3 posts and an test in December. The protestors have also been demanding the holdback of the DSC for 3 months till October. She raised taglines of ‘ CM Revanth Reddy, down down ’ indeed as she was dragged down by the police.
A BCom graduate and a cattle herdsman, Sirisha came to the spotlight during choices in Telangana after she decided to dispute pates, Assembly and Lok Sabha, as an Independent, to prove that an ordinary girl can get votes without distributing plutocrat, liquor, or using muscle power. The police detained BRSV leader Gellu Srinivas Yadav among others during the kick.
BRS elderly leader T Harish Rao sprucely condemned the detentions and questioned if scholars can not register their kick in Telangana under the “ so- called people’s rule. ” “ The Congress government dragged the scholars who were supposed to hold books and study to the thorough fares and stage sit- sways and agitations.
BRS party, the main opposition party, won't stand actively by if it makes pledges before the choices and turns its reverse after coming to power. We'll not leave until the problems are answered and the demands are achieved. We'll roar on behalf of the scholars and the jobless.
We'll fight desperately. On behalf of the BRS party, we're demanding the government to incontinently stop the apprehensions of scholars, pupil union leaders and the jobless, and to incontinently release those who have been detained and arrested.
