"When my friends are together, victory is certain on the path of struggle," he declared, reflecting a positive atmosphere surrounding the campaign. Former mayor Nitin Kalje reminisced about his journey with Landge, recalling their efforts in 2014 when the BJP first came to power in the state. "I got this significant position because of Mahesh Landge," Kalje acknowledged, highlighting the evolution of Charholi village since it was incorporated into the municipal corporation. "In 2017, Charholi village got justice through MLA Mahesh Landge," he asserted, affirming the area's progress over the past decade.

Landge reiterated his commitment to development, stating, "I can never forget the support given by Charholicar during my political struggle. We are fighting elections on the issue of development." He pointed to the significant improvements in infrastructure and community welfare over the last ten years, claiming that the included villages have witnessed a transformation, making the city unrecognizable compared to its previous state.
