The crocodile was found on the wall of Varasgaon dam at around 10 pm on Tuesday. Around 10 pm, Rahul Jadhav and Kunal Borade, employees of the dam's safety board, were going over the wall to check the water level. At that moment, he saw movement in the darkness.
When they looked into the light, they saw that it was a crocodile. She was coming towards the security post near the wall of the crocodile dam. They saw her in the light of the lights of the car, then she changed direction and began to walk along the dam wall.


The incident was immediately reported to the branch engineer Veeresh Raut over the phone. They also reached the spot.
They informed the forest department about the incident.
Officers of the Forest Department and a rescue team reached the spot.
Officials of the irrigation department have to go to the wall of the dam to check the water level.
