New Delhi: Tiger cubs from Victoria and Albert Museum in London have been brought back to India. The state government has claimed that the tiger claws were used by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The opposition parties, however, have objected to this.
Indrajit Sawant, a history researcher at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, said that there is no evidence of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj using the tigress. When I sought information from the Victoria and Albert Museum in this regard, I was told in writing that the museum has no proof that the tiger cubs belong to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The opposition has lashed out against the government over the issue. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis criticised the Opposition leader for his statement.
"Today, when Sudhir Mungantiwar welcomed the Chief Minister, he has met Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. In fact, now these tigers do not want to take anyone's sack. However, some people are confused and confused. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has to do the work of removing the fungus and rust on his brain, "Fadnavis said.
"We have been hearing about the killing of Afzal Khan by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for generations. The weapon that Shivaraya used for this, the tiger, has come to our Maharashtra and has been made available for darshan in Satara. There can be no greater luck. Through these tigers, we have got an opportunity to connect directly with the history of Shivaraya, "Fadnavis said.
