The Loni Kalbhor police have arrested a woman for impersonating as an IAS officer and using a photo of IAS and Indian Rajmudra on WhatsApp DP. Even after paying double the amount, she had threatened to kill herself and make the entire system work for more money.




Renuka Ishwar Karanure (32 years) The arrested woman has been identified as Siddhivinayak Society, Wadki-Wadki. A 31-year-old woman has lodged a complaint with the police.


According to the police, the accused is a domestic help. For this, Renuka had come to Karnure. He said he was an IAS officer. As the complainant was in need of money, he had initially taken Rs 60,000 from Renuka at the rate of 5 per cent per month. After that, he had taken Rs 2.68 lakh from time to time. The complainant has so far paid a total of Rs 3,48,650 as interest at the rate of 10 per cent per month.

Renuka Karnure used to say that she is an IAS in the place where she lives. She has put a picture of IAS and Indian Rajmudra on her WhatsApp DP. When she did not pay the money, she forcibly took away the car of the complainant's husband. He returned it after paying Rs.




On July 25, Renuka came to the complainant's house. He demanded money. If you don't pay the interest, remember I am in the IAS. I will shake up the whole system and manage everyone with money. Her husband is a truck driver. He threatened to kill her husband and leave her forever. Following this, the complainant approached the police.




The Loni Kalbhor police immediately registered a case and arrested Renuka Karnure. Police sub-inspector Amol Ghodke is investigating whether she has given money to anyone else with interest.
