A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker in Pune threatened to kill a party worker over a dispute in the sewerage department of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). This shocking incident took place on Sunday. A case has been registered against the junior engineer of Pune Municipal Corporation's sewerage department and his brother at Khadak police station under various sections including Atrocity Act.

BJP worker Nirmal Motilal Harihar (36). Junior Engineer Ganesh Rajendra Gite (37 years), his brother Mahesh (35 years), two others. A case was registered against him under Sections 109, 352, 3 (5) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Atrocities Act.


According to the police, the complainant, Nirmal Harihar, is a BJP worker and a contractor in the municipal corporation. He was on his way to attend the BJP's Maharashtra state convention in Balewadi. Mangal Club in Ganj Peth had stopped near Mitra Mandal. At that time, Ganesh Gite, a junior engineer in the sewerage department of the corporation and his brother Mahesh Gite, who were known to Harihar, came there.

Geete put a pistol to Harihar's stomach. Harihar was beaten up. "Are you paying Rs 10 crore? What do you deserve?In his complaint to Khadak police station, Harihar alleged that the accused threatened to kill him. Further investigation is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Ambika Dhaste.
