Hyderabad : As demurrers by scholars on the Osmania University( OU) lot demanding the holdback of the District Selection Committee( DSC) examinations entered their third day, the Hyderabad police in an attempt to check escalation, assaulted a pupil, in a shot to detain him. The incident came to light after Bharat Rashtra Samithi ( BRS) leader Krishank participated the videotape on X which went viral and touched off outrage.
The protesters demanding to postpone DSC examinations till October were seen physically assaulted by the police. before in the day, a intelligencer, working with Zee Telugu who was covering the scholars ’ agitation was manhandled by the police. Two sub-inspectors of the OU police station were seen dragging him to a police vehicle.
The intelligencer was allegedly ordered by an Inspector of the original OU police station to cancel the vids mugged by him. Both incidents are sparking mass outrage against police conduct who detained as numerous as 20 protestors from the OU trades College erecting a day before.
Along with the DSC test holdback, protesters demanded measures to increase job bulletins in Group I, II, and III configurations from the Telangana government. also, they supported seven further demands raised by Motilal Naik, an OU pupil who had held a hunger strike for eight days.
