Mysuru, Karnataka – The Enforcement Directorate (ED) intensified its investigation into the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) on Saturday as officials conducted extensive raids in connection with a land scam involving Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The investigations revealed that crucial documents related to land ownership, denotification, and conversion were missing, raising concerns about the integrity of the MUDA’s records. According to sources, the ED's activities at the MUDA office involved the deployment of Central Reserve Protection Force (CRPF) personnel and local police, who ensured the security of the premises throughout the night.

The main entrance to the MUDA building was locked, permitting only authorized MUDA officers, security personnel, and ED agents to enter. MUDA Commissioner Raghunandan A. N. and senior officials were summoned to the office early Saturday morning as ED officers conducted thorough inspections and interrogations. The team primarily focused on obtaining original documents linked to land ownership and allotment concerning CM Siddaramaiah's wife, Parvathy, who is listed as one of the prime accused in the case. Alarming reports indicate that significant records attributing land allocations to Parvathy, dating back to 1992, have gone missing from the MUDA's archives.

Commissioner Raghunandan, who recently assumed his role, stated to the ED that he was unaware of the missing documents. In a parallel development, the ED also extended its search to the residence of J. Devaraju, identified as the landowner and the fourth accused in the ongoing scam, in Bengaluru's Kengeri locality, with raids continuing until midnight on Friday. Sources reveal that a team of 20 ED officers was involved in scrutinizing the documents at the MUDA office.

As the investigation progresses, reports suggest that the ED plans to conduct further raids at CM Siddaramaiah’s residence to question both him and his wife, Parvathy. Complainant Snehamayi Krishna expressed support for the ongoing raids, stating that once the ED obtains the necessary documents, the truth behind the allegations against the accused will be unveiled. As the situation unfolds, the public and political observers eagerly await the outcomes of the ED’s investigations into this high-profile case, which has already stirred significant controversy in Karnataka's political landscape.
