Pune : In connection with the Narcotic medicines, a digging operation was carried out in the Khadak police station area. The Khadak police has taken action against Matka, gambling, illegal liquor business in Lohianagar and Kashewadi area. The police have arrested four persons in connection with the thievery.
Rohit Mahadu Avghade(19 times), Laxmi Mahadu Avghade( 45 times), Rakesh Mohan Kamble(48 times), Shobha Lakshman Jadhav( 48 times). A case has been registered under Section 123 of the Maharashtra Prohibition of Narcotic medicines and Psychotropic Substances( NDPS) Act.
The indicted were produced before the court and transferred to 14- day judicial guardianship. While taking information about the illegal business in Khadak police station, police inspector Uikey got information that illegal liquor was being vended in the vicinity of Maharashtra Pan Shop in front of Bagwe Patpedi in Kashewadi area.
Consequently, a police platoon raided the hand kiln at Kashewadi. During the operation, 310 litres of liquor worth Rs 31,340 was seized. Under the guidance of the supervisor of police( SP) Rahul Khade, in charge fresh SP Roopchand Waghmare, the action was taken by Reshma Saudagar, Prakash Ghughre, Rajendra Sinkar, Ashok Nagargoje and Chandrakant Shinde.
