Amol Vilas Shinde (35 years) A case under Sections 406, 419, 420, 465, 468 and 471 of the IPC has been registered against the accused. The accused has cheated the complainant and others.


According to the police, the accused told the complainant that he was a senior official in the health department at the Ahmednagar district programme manager. He said that after gaining the trust of the complainant, he employs the child and others as a talathi, health worker, health friend. The accused had demanded money from the girl for giving her a job. Accordingly, the complainant paid Rs 24 lakh 55 thousand to Amol Shinde in cash and bank account online from time to time. From the witness, Rs 69 lakh 5 thousand was taken.

After receiving the money, Shinde gave Firyadi and Sakshi fake appointment letters, fake I-cards, e-mail letters, other fake documents and false documents of mark enhancement. However, after realising that the documents were fake, Giri and the witness demanded money from Amol. They also demanded that the documents be returned to them. At that time, Shinde abused Giri and the witness and threatened to burn the documents. According to the FIR, Amol Shinde cheated the complainant and the witness to the tune of Rs 94 lakh and Rs 5 thousand without employing them. Kothrud police are investigating.
