The BJP-led NDA is likely to win 353 to 368 of the 543 seats in the country. The Congress-led Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) is likely to get 118 to 133 seats. Other parties are likely to win 43 to 48 seats. However, the exit polls have predicted a hung assembly for Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, the BJP and the NDA are likely to get a clear majority.

In Maharashtra, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is expected to win 25 seats and the Mahagathbandhan 22. Others may have a place in the account. According to the Republic-PMARQ exit poll, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to win 359 seats and the Indian National Congress 154 seats.
