Diagnosed in 2012, Manisha sought treatment in New York, leading to her recovery in 2014. Her experience has not only transformed her life but has also fueled her passion for supporting others affected by cancer. In a heartfelt reflection during her recent visit to the UK, Manisha met with cancer patients at the London offices of a prominent cancer charity. There, she gained valuable insights into the organization's efforts to provide support for those impacted by ovarian cancer.
“I want to use my voice to not only support cancer patients but also to raise awareness about the need for equitable care,” she stated, emphasizing her commitment to advocacy. Highlighting the emotional toll of her journey, Manisha recalled moments of isolation and struggle. She was particularly touched by a letter she received from HRH The Princess of Wales, expressing her appreciation for the royal's warm response. “I wanted to reach out to HRH The Princess of Wales to send my good wishes, particularly due to my own experiences.
