As lakhs of followers gather at the iconic Diksha Bhoomi in Nagpur to commemorate Dhamma Chakra Pravartana Day, the Central Railway Administration has stepped in to facilitate the journey for devotees. In a bid to manage the anticipated surge in passenger traffic, special trains will be operational between Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur, along with routes connecting Nagpur to Bhusawal and Nashik Road. The festivities, expected to draw significant crowds, have prompted the railway authorities to implement effective travel solutions.

Train No. 01017 Special will commence its journey from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 2 PM on October 11, arriving in Nagpur at 5 AM the following morning. This train will make stops at key locations including Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, and Bhusawal, among others. On the return journey, Train No. 01018 is scheduled to leave Nagpur at 12:20 PM on October 13, reaching Lokmanya Tilak Terminus by 7 PM the same day. Additionally, Train No. 01218 will depart Nagpur at 10:05 PM on October 12, arriving at its destination at 2:35 PM the next day.

Both return trains will also service various stops along the route, ensuring accessibility for all. For those traveling from Pune, Train No. 01215 will leave Nagpur at 11 PM on October 12, arriving in Pune the next evening. Conversely, Train No. 01216 will depart Pune at 4 PM on October 11, with an expected arrival in Nagpur at 6:45 AM the following day. In addition to these services, MEMU Special train No. 01213 will depart from Bhusawal on October 12 at 4:25 AM, reaching Nagpur by noon. On the same day, MEMU Special No. 01214 will leave Nagpur at 11:40 PM, arriving at Nashik Road at 2:10 PM the next day.

The Central Railway Administration encourages passengers to take advantage of these specially arranged train services and has announced that reservations will open on October 7 at all computerized reservation centers, as well as on the IRCTC website, with a nominal special fee. With these dedicated travel options, the Central Railway aims to ensure that all devotees can participate in this significant day of celebration and reflection, making their journey as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
