Hyderabad : Hyderabad Traffic Police caught 1,614 drivers for drunk driving in 10 days. On the other hand, the police filed 992 charge wastes, including those related to former cases in courts. The justice assessed total forfeitures of Rs on all the violators. Out of the total cases, 1,346 were reserved against two- wheelers.
The drivers were caught during drunk driving tests conducted at colorful locales in the megacity. It may be mentioned that if anyone drives under the influence of alcohol and causes accidents performing in losses, similar persons will be arrested and transferred to jail under Section 304 Part 2 IPC( July 1, 2024, onwards Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita)( reproachable homicide not amounting to murder), for which the maximum discipline is 10 times of jail and a forfeiture.
