PMPML CNG bus fire.
The incident took place at around 12 midnight on Thursday when a CNG bus of PMP parked at Katraj Chowk at night caught fire. Hence, a huge accident was averted.
The buses of Katraj Depot are parked at Katraj Chowk after travelling in the city throughout the day. The driver got off the bus around 11 a.m. Soon after, the guard noticed smoke coming out of the bonnet.
The fire was immediately brought under control by the fire brigade. None was injured. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained, the fire brigade said. The locals have lauded the fire department for dousing the fire.
