Pune crime branch : Drugs worth Rs 1 crore seized Anti-narcotics squad arrests three

Pune: Over the past few months, a drug racket has been busted in Pune. The Pune Crime Branch has seized drugs worth Rs 1 crore from Lohegaon.

Srinivas Santosh Godje (21 years old, Ra. Rohit Shantaram Bende (21 years) Nimish Subhash Abnave (27, Ra. The arrested persons have been identified as Vighnaharta Apartment, Tingrenagar, Lohgaon.


A case has been registered at Vishrantwadi police station in this regard. According to the police, the anti-narcotics team received information that three people had come to the Vighnaharta apartment in Tingrenagar and suspected that they had drugs. When the police reached the spot, the three were standing on the roadside. A total of 471 grams of mephedrone (MD), 4 mobile phones, two bikes, a car and two electronic weighing machines worth Rs 1,89,460 were recovered from their possession.

The raid was conducted by Konaje police inspector, Ashok P, police sub-inspector, Sudhakar, and other personnel of Konaje station under the guidance of city police commissioner, Chandra Sekhar, deputy commissioners of police, Shantharaju and Sanjeev Patil, and assistant commissioner of police, Kalyan Shetty. Police inspector Ulhas Kadam is investigating the case.
