Pune: Man arrested for killing wife over suspicion of infidelity

Pune: In a shocking incident, a man stabbed his wife with a knife over suspicion of infidelity. The accused has been arrested by the Bharti Vidyapeeth police. The incident occurred on Thursday Day. The incident took place at around 8 am on Katraj Kondhwa Road.

Anita Suresh Shinde (41) Omkar Society, Katraj-Kondhwa Road Katraj) has lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station. The accused, Suresh Ramrao Shinde, 45, has been booked under Sections 118 (2) 115 (2) 352 and 351 (3) of the Indian Penal Code. According to police sub-inspector Ratikant Koli, the accused, Suresh Shinde, works as a mason. He was constantly suspicious of his wife's character. On Thursday morning, he got into an argument with his wife suspecting her character. Later, he attacked his wife with a knife, leaving her critically injured. After receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the spot and took the accused into custody. Further investigations are being carried out by the Police.


Old dispute
