Pune Municipal Corporation Assistant Commissioner : Sandeep Khalate suspended for failure to tackle flood situation

Pune: Sandeep Khalate has been suspended.


Heavy rain throws life out of gear in city . Traffic was also affected due to waterlogging on several roads in the city. Landslides have occurred in several places. Two cars and a motor bike were damaged in the incident. Many houses were flooded with rainwater. (Pune Rains)

The rain has subsided and the authorities are taking necessary steps. The opposition has questioned the government's handling of the situation. The municipal administration was also put on alert. After this, the municipal administration woke up. (Sandeep Khalate Suspended)


Meanwhile, assistant commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Sandeep Khalate has been suspended for dereliction of duty. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Dr Rajendra Bhosale.
