Pune: The Pune Police has busted a gang involved in the sale of fake heroin, choline, lysol and other household items. Police have registered an FIR against three people in this case. According to the police, the complainant works as a regional manager in IP Investigation and Detective Service Company. His company has been given the authority to take action against those who are manufacturing and selling fake products like Dettol, Brick, Durex, Harpic, Lysol and Choline from Clariant.
Firyadi came to know that fake Harpic, Lysol, Choline and other household items were being sold at Rajal Trading Company, Gami Enterprises and Premium Enterprises in Nana Peth. Thereafter, he had lodged complaint with the police. The police commissioner has ordered an inquiry into the matter. Samarth police raided three shops in Nana Peth and seized fake Harpic, Lysol, Choline and other household items worth Rs 1,97,000. Further investigation is done by the police.
