Rule change from 1st August 2024.
From August 1, many big changes will be seen in the country, which can directly affect your pocket from your kitchen. This includes changes in the price of LPG cylinders to credit card rules. Let's take a look at 5 such changes.
First change: LPG rates
Oil marketing companies revise the price of LPG cylinders on the first of every month. Therefore, the revised rates can be issued at 6 am on August 1, 2024. People are expecting a relief in the price of domestic cylinders this time.
Second change - CNG and PNG rates (CNG-PNG Gas Price)
Oil marketing companies (OMCs) revise the prices of domestic aviation turbine fuel (ATF) and CNG and PNG on the first day of the week. The new rates will come into effect from August 1 this year.
The third option is the HDFC credit card.
From August 1, a 1% charge will be levied on transactions made through HDFC Bank credit cards through third-party apps such as Cred, Paytm, MobiKwik, Freecharge or others, and the limit per transaction is Rs 3,000. There will be no additional charges for transactions below Rs 15,000 on fuel transactions, but there will be a 1% charge on the total amount for transactions above Rs 15,000.
The fourth change: Google Maps. (Google Map Charge)
Google will reduce the charges on its Google Maps service in India by up to 70 percent from August 1, 2024. Apart from this, Google will also take payment for its map service in Indian rupees instead of dollars.
The fifth change - 13 days of bank holiday (Bank Holidays)
Banks will remain closed for 13 days in August. Banks will remain closed for various reasons like Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami and Independence Day. These holidays also include the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays.
