Mumbai : The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued an advisory to all state police units to take precautionary measures in the wake of the chaos and resentment among students over the NEET results. Some people, educational institutions are giving wrong information to the students in the background of NEET result.

Precautions have been taken to ensure law and order situation does not deteriorate. The Home Department has also been told to take the information of the person who gives such wrong information.

Students, parents and teachers have protested against the decision. Along with the court cases, student protests are going on in various parts of the country. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued an advisory to all state police chiefs in this regard. Misinformation spread on social media can lead to protests in many places.

Various instructions have been given to take information about the persons or educational institutions spreading such false information, to provide proper security at the protest site, to ensure that law and order problems do not arise, to inform the Union Home Ministry about the protest.
