Telangana : As numerous as 3076 children were saved between July 1 and July 31 in Operation Muskan. Nearly 644 children were saved by the Hyderabad police alone.
Those saved included 934 children from other countries and countries, including Nepal, 47 road children, 115 children from soliciting, 2,510 from child labour, 33 from slipup kilns, and 371 from other diligence( 310 boys and 61 girls), the Telangana police stated.
According to the fresh director general of police( ADGP), women safety sect Shikha Goel, the action Operation Muskan, which aims to trace, deliverance, and rehabilitate missing and traded children, had considerable success in the state. In 2023 alone, Telangana police saved 2617 children, which was the loftiest number of child rescues in any state in India.
The Telangana police works with colorful stakeholders in society to identify vulnerable pockets where missing and traded children can be set up. The common areas include road stations, machine stations, religious places, business junctions, construction spots, slipup kilns, tea shops, and paths.
Telangana has the loftiest compensation package per child saved, at Rs 20,000, which is assured to profit the child by the labour department.
