Hyderabad — In a significant move to stabilize the administration of state universities, Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma has approved the appointment of nine new vice-chancellors. This decision comes in the wake of a vacancy at Telangana University in Nizamabad, previously held by a vice-chancellor who was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for alleged graft. The appointments were announced through a press release, detailing the newly appointed vice-chancellors for various institutions

Prof. G N Srinivas has been appointed as vice-chancellor of Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar.

Prof. Pratap Reddy will take the helm at Kakatiya University, Warangal.

Prof. Kumar Moglaram has been designated as the vice-chancellor for Osmania University, Hyderabad.

Prof. Umesh Kumar will lead Satavahana University in Karimnagar.

Prof. Nityananda Rao is appointed as vice-chancellor of Telugu University, Hyderabad.

Prof. Altaf Hussain will serve as vice-chancellor for Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda.

Prof. Yadagiri Rao has been chosen for the position at Telangana University, Nizamabad.

Prof. Aldas Janaiah will assume the role of vice-chancellor for Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad.

Prof. Raji Reddy is appointed as the vice-chancellor for Sri Konda Laxman Telangana Horticultural University.
