It has started to rain again this morning. Due to heavy rains in the catchment areas of Khadakwasla, Pavana, Mulshi and Chasakaman dams in the district, the reservoirs are full to capacity. The total water storage available in the four reservoirs of Khadakwasla Project is 92.58 per cent which is an increase of 26.99 TMC.
At 11 am today, the discharge of sewage from the Khadakwasla dam into the Mutha river basin began.
The discharge of 29,414 cusecs has been increased to 35,02 cusecs.
The discharge of 24,745 cusecs from Mulshi dam to Mula river has been increased.
It will be 27,282 at 1 pm.


In view of the discharge from the dam, the Pune and PMRDA fire brigade have reached Ekta Nagar near Sinhagad Road.
