Pune, Maharashtra – In a commendable display of dedication and teamwork, the engineers and technical staff of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL) were on duty for an impressive 24 to 36 hours during the Ganesh Visarjan procession, ensuring a seamless power supply and electricity security in Pune and its surrounding areas.

The successful conclusion of the Ganesh festival was marked by the absence of any disruptions to the electrical services, affirming MSEDCL's commitment to its customers. This year's Ganeshotsav was celebrated with great fervor, prompting MSEDCL to take proactive measures to guarantee a reliable electricity supply throughout Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, and the rural taluks of Mulshi, Velhe, Haveli, Ambegaon, Junnar, Khed, and Maval. With immersion processions commencing on Tuesday, September 17, Chief Engineer Rajendra Pawar directed senior officials and staff to be on full duty until the completion of all major idol immersions.

MSEDCL's team was instructed to provide hourly updates on power supply status and other relevant information. Chief Engineer Pawar himself participated in the immersion procession in Pune, embodying the organization's commitment to the festival. Alongside him were Superintending Engineer Arvind Buble, and other executive engineers, all of whom oversaw their respective areas.

A temporary control room was established on Laxmi Road to coordinate efforts during the immersion processions, working closely with all relevant government agencies to ensure a well-organized event. The immersion of Ganesh idols proceeded smoothly from 2 AM to 6 AM today, with the majority of Ganesh Mandals reporting no interruptions or safety issues related to electricity supply.

Rajendra Pawar, Chief Engineer of the Pune Division, praised the efforts of MSEDCL's team, stating, "All the engineers and technical staff of MSEDCL performed exceptionally well in ensuring smooth power supply and safety during Ganeshotsav. We are grateful for the cooperation of all congregations and devotees.

It is indeed satisfying that Ganeshotsav concluded smoothly in terms of electricity security, as everyone remained alert and aware." Thanks to the unwavering commitment of MSEDCL's staff, the Ganesh festival in Pune has successfully concluded, setting a benchmark for future celebrations.
