Voter registration campaign in Pune.


As per the directions of the Election Commission of India, voter registration drives are being conducted at various places in the district under the Special Summary Revision Programme and are getting good response from the citizens. All eligible voters will have until August 16 to register to vote.

Prof. Akurdi. Voter registration was done at Ramkrishna More College and Dr. D. Y. Patil College in Nigdi. Students were taught about the importance of voting. In Chinchwad. A registration camp at Nagnath Maruti Gadsingh Junior College.


The polling stations are located at Bhor, Savitribai Phule Girls School, Saswad, Panchsheel Nagar, Vishrantwadi, Saraswati Vidyalaya, Magarpatta, Thergaon Hospital, Zilla Parishad School, Velhe, Platinum Park, Ambegaon, Khed, Alandi, Mulshi, Ambegaon, Chandoli Khurd, Avsari Khurd and Bhosari.

Various awareness activities are also being carried out under 'SVEEP' to inform the voters about the special campaign.
In particular, new voters are being invited to register.
Along with the voter registration, applications are also being accepted in the camp to make corrections in the voter list.
