The Democracy News : Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said the G7 leaders explosively supported a fair transnational taxation system with a global minimal duty base. The Joint Statement issued at the end of the G- 7 Summit of the Group of Seven top industrialized countries of the world has committed to further promote the proffers of the India- West- Europe Economic Corridor(IMEC). The G7 is committed to a free and open Indo- Pacific grounded on the rule of law, the statement said. The G7 will promote crucial systems of the Partnership for Global structure and Investment(PGII) to develop transformational profitable corridors for quality structure and investment.

These include the India- West Atheia- Europe Economic Corridor as well as the Lobito Corridor, Luzon Corridor, Middle Corridor. Emphasis will be laid on collaboration and backing, especially to materialize the IMEC, the statement said. In addition, the EU Global Gateway, the Great Green Wall action and the METEI design launched by Italy for Africa will also be enforced.

The India- West Asia- Europe Economic Corridor(IMEC) design envisages a vast road, rail and shipping network between Saudi Arabia, India, the US and Europe to insure connectivity between Asia, West Asia and the West. The IMEC has been projected by like- inclined countries as an action to gain strategic influence in the face of China's Belt and Road Initiative(BRI).
