Pune Municipal Corporation's newly appointed Municipal Commissioner, Dr. Rajendra Bhosale, emphasized the importance of increasing public interaction to address the various issues faced by the citizens of the city.
He highlighted the need to work for the common people and ensure that there are no discrepancies in the services provided by the corporation. Dr. Bhosale expressed his commitment to resolving the problems faced by citizens promptly and efficiently.
During the acceptance ceremony on Saturday, Dr. Rajendra Bhosale took over the responsibilities from Vikram Kumar. The event was attended by senior officials, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kunal Khemnar, Ravindra Binwade, and Vikas Dhakne.
Dr. Bhosale reiterated the corporation's dedication to improving citizen services and emphasized the importance of coordination within the municipal system to address public grievances effectively.
Dr. Rajendra Bhosale outlined his priorities, which include addressing the city's various challenges, enhancing coordination among different departments, and ensuring timely completion of projects. Despite the commencement of the code of conduct, ongoing projects will not face any hindrances.
Dr. Bhosale also mentioned plans to focus on issues such as creating more open spaces in the city, utilizing amenity spaces efficiently, and redeveloping old municipal buildings. He assured the public of his commitment to making necessary improvements and resolving issues promptly.
