Vijay Shivtare said, "I have a close relationship with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. It has been a tough couple of months for them. I want to contest elections. We are not leaving the seat. In such a situation, they have a problem, so I will get out.

Vijay Shivtare further said that his attachment with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is 25 years old. It'll always be there. There were reports that action would be taken against me. So let's see what happens next. It is not right to answer such questions.

Shivtare said, "My fight will be against the Maha Vikas Aghadi.
Vijay Shivtare and Supriya Sule of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) are contesting as independents.
I am confident that I will get the first vote.
What happened today is the same thing.
That's why people are urging me to stay.

"Supriya Sule on one side and Sunetra Pawar on the other.
People feel that we don't want to vote for both of them. So, what is the third option?
When people in Maharashtra will get good options in democracy, then it will definitely be a miracle, "Shivtare said.
