The ongoing IPL 17 season in India has unveiled the schedules for five matches, with the final date yet to be disclosed. These initial match schedules were released amid the ongoing general elections, spanning 17 days and featuring four double-header matches, totaling 21 matches.
Reports from Cricbuzz indicate that the first qualifier match of IPL 2024 is slated for May 21 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, followed by the eliminator match on May 22, also in Ahmedabad. The second qualifier match is scheduled for May 24 in Chennai, with the final showdown on May 26 at Chennai's M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, marking a return to Chepauk after 12 years.
The second phase of IPL matches will commence on April 8, with seven matches scheduled between April 19 and June 1. Notably, some matches of Punjab Kings will be held in Dharamshala, while two matches of Rajasthan Royals will take place in Guwahati.
