Rohit, Pandya among six Indians in ICC platoon, Kohli misses out

The T20 World Cup 2024 hosted by the West Indies and the United States ended with India's palm. Rohit Sharma led India to a seven- run palm over South Africa. The Indian players have done extremely well in the event. This is the reason why six Indians have been named in the ICC's platoon of the event. Six Indian players named in ICC Men's platoon of the Decade The 11- member team includes six Indian players, three from Afghanistan and one each from West Indies and Australia. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were chosen as the openers. Rohit Sharma was the loftiest run- arranger for India with 257 runs.

For the third spot, the ICC placed West Indies' Nicholas Pooran at number four, while Suryakumar Yadav was the alternate-loftiest run- getter for India with 199 runs. The team also includes the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal. These four players had a strong performance for India in the T20 World Cup 2024.
