Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who was scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the authors of an Indian space startup, arrived in China on Sunday after cancelling his visit to India. Musk's visit to China comes soon after he cancelled his trip to India due to the trouble of rising deals of EVs by original companies in China.
Musk met Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Sunday and bandied unborn expansion plans, the state-run news agency said. Musk visited China at the assignation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(CCPIT). He met President of CCPIT Ren Hongbin and bandied further cooperation with China.
Tesla has come a popular EV in China since it began product in 2020 after erecting a$ 7 billion plant in Shanghai. Tesla has faced stiff competition from Chinese EV makers over the once many times. To maintain its commanding position in China's decoration EV member, Musk has slashed prices of Shanghai-made vehicles by over to six percent.
