The Lockheed 12A twin-engine aircraft crashed just west of Chino Airport in San Bernardino County at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Officials reported that the plane ignited in flames upon impact. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the incident. Chino Valley Fire District Battalion Chief Brian Turner mentioned that firefighters swiftly brought the fire under control within 10 minutes and discovered two deceased individuals in the aircraft.

The identities of the deceased have not been disclosed as of Sunday afternoon. Turner, as cited by the Southern California News Group, characterized the aircraft as an old and historic plane. Reportedly, the aircraft was owned by the 'Yanks Air Museum'. In a statement on Facebook, the museum stated, "Currently, we are collaborating closely with local authorities and the Federal Aviation Administration.

" The 'Yanks Air Museum' will remain closed until further notice as our team copes with this event. We thank you for your understanding and respect for our privacy during this challenging period.
