During an interview, PM Modi emphasized the positive contributions of Gulf countries and the support of America and Europe towards IMEC.

PM Modi highlighted the importance of working towards global welfare without hesitation, emphasizing the cooperative nature of international forums like the G8 and G20. Regarding the interactions between Biden and Mohammed bin Salman, PM Modi emphasized his amicable relationships with both leaders.
He underscored the collaborative efforts on IMEC, portraying it as a transformative initiative akin to the Silk Route. The involvement of Gulf nations, along with the backing of America and Europe, indicated a promising outcome. An MoU for IMEC was signed by India, the US, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Italy, and the European Union during the G20 summit in New Delhi last September.
