Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his fifth term, has been notably active. On his third foreign tour since assuming office, Putin arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan's capital, for a two-day visit scheduled from May 26 to 27. Upon landing in Tashkent, he received a warm welcome at the airport from Uzbekistani President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who personally greeted him along with other Uzbekistani officials.
The agenda for the visit includes discussions on bilateral relations, regional matters, and a joint participation in the inaugural council meeting addressing Russia and Uzbekistan regions. Additionally, Putin took the opportunity to inspect the Tashkent project during his visit.
